From Chicago’s West Side to Premier Test-Prep Tutor
Hello, I’m Conrad, and I specialize in transforming students’ academic journeys, particularly in the Language Arts sections of standardized tests like the HSPT, DSAT, and ACT. My story is one of resilience, determination, and a passion for education—a story I believe will resonate with parents looking to invest in their child’s future.
Raised on the West Side of Chicago, I grew up in an environment marked by poverty, crime, and violence. Despite these challenges, my upbringing was enriched by the unwavering support of my mother, aunt, and grandmother—all strong Polish women who taught me the value of hard work and the transformative power of education. They instilled in me a drive to overcome adversity and strive for excellence.
My academic journey led me first into finance, where I worked as a Banker for three years, and eventually to DePaul University, where I earned a Master of Arts in Writing, Rhetoric, & Discourse. While at DePaul, I taught Composition & Rhetoric I & II, discovering my passion for teaching and mentoring. The diverse backgrounds and unique challenges of my students reminded me of my own experiences, reinforcing my belief that education is a powerful tool for change.
